Assetto uses the same, and it's not a good idea. On VR we don't use those commands, so we have to bind 2 buttons of the wheel for a single action, we lose a button, and it's more complicated to recenter ...
I use VR and play in VR. I bound the Look Left + Look Right Buttons ingame to the big circular Red/Black button on my Logitech G29. So when i press it, both buttons are pressed and VR is centered.
That's because now they don't check it you have a"button" assigned to another function, like other games do. But that could change in the future ... But nice trick for now.
Well in gRally they make it possible to bind one button to many actions LoL - So you just map one desired for both look left and right!
I already read that from Lexrax_VR ... the question is: Is that a desired feature from the DEVs ? Or is it accidental behaviour and could change in the future, and stop working ?
At this moment I have much much bigger troubles with gRally...Dunno for you guys, but I can`t make it use my Fanatec wheel!
